Description
When I was a young girl my sister and I would play we had horses and in our wild imaginations ride them to far off places. I had painted this scene previously but in reminiscing those days I once again 'played', though my sister is long gone. I came up with a new story. Long ago in ancient times was a horse rumored to be seen by few in the canyon, a white horse, a spirit animal when seen meant an intimate message given to the one who encounters the horse silently passing by in the river. Seen so rarely a legend was born and called the 'ghost of the canyon'. The horse is still talked about, considered a legend but there have been some even now who claim they have seen the ghost of Marble Canyon.
